Young Scientist Retreat 2025
We were there - at this year’s Young Scientist Retreat.
The retreat was organised by the ECR Representatives of the bioDGPs and DGPA. In line with its vision, the event provided a wonderful opportunity for early-career researchers to connect, share their work, and explore the exciting projects of others.
This year’s retreat was held in Hamburg and included a visit to the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), as well as an insightful workshop about “Mental Health and Resilience in Academia”. The online workshop was held by Dr. Desiree Dickerson from Dickerson et al. and provided valuable strategies for maintaining well‑being in research life.
The retreat was a great experience, bringing together early career researchers and their exciting research!
