Bio

Celine studied Psychology at KU Leuven and completed her PhD in Clinical Psychiatry, investigating threat learning processes in adolescents exposed to childhood adversity. She then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory for Biological Psychology (KU Leuven), where she examined the mechanisms underlying the association between poverty and psychopathology. Celine was awarded a Marie Skłodowska‑Curie postdoctoral fellowship to continue her work on threat and reward learning in adolescents exposed to adversity, which she will pursue at Lonsdorf Lab starting February 2027.
